Activities during the program

• Analyzing crime data to identify trends and patterns in specific areas or timeframes.
• Proposing crime prevention measures tailored to specific environments and crime types.
• Conducting risk assessments for institutions or communities to identify and prioritize crime risks.
• Reviewing and analyzing historical criminal cases to extract key lessons and insights.
• Researching legal frameworks and penalties for specific crimes to evaluate their effectiveness.
• Studying the effectiveness of community policing programs and suggesting improvements.

Mentoring

You will be guided and work in constant contact with the managers of the company. 

You will gain the following skills: 

• Proficiency in analyzing crime data and identifying trends or patterns.
• Understanding criminological theories and their practical application.
• Developing crime prevention strategies based on evidence and research.
• Conducting risk assessments and prioritizing threats to safety.
• Enhancing research and analytical skills through case study reviews.

• Strengthening communication and report-writing skills for criminological topics.
• Building critical thinking and problem-solving abilities in criminological contexts.

This programme also includes:

• You can choose when to start and finish the period of your internship.

• The company will sign the documentation related to the Erasmus+ programme.
• The company will sign any other educational agreement and documents required by your university.
• A certificate of completion of internship.
• One recommendation letter for your job / further studies application.
• You can include the host company, as a reference for your job application in other company.

Importrant information:

You can also do this program with the Erasmus+ programme or another educational programme (e.g., curricular programmes to get ECTS, final projects in university, practical and academic projects, etc). It is also possible to do the internship without any programme.

About the price

This programme has a reasonable price that varies depending on the duration of the programme and its location. The price is paid at the beginning of the internship and never in advance.
