- Study the history of cosmetology and its evolution over time.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of different hair and skin treatments, including spa services and cosmetic procedures.
- Analyze market research data on consumer preferences and buying habits in the cosmetic industry.
- Evaluate the impact of environmental factors, such as pollution and UV exposure, on skin and hair health.
- Investigate the safety and efficacy of different cosmetic ingredients, including natural and synthetic substances.
- Study the impact of cultural, social, and psychological factors on the use of cosmetics, including the influence of media and advertising.
You will gain the following skills:
- Research skills: The trainee will learn how to conduct research on skincare and makeup products, ingredients, formulation, and efficacy. They will learn how to use reliable sources of information and how to evaluate the credibility of the sources.
- Knowledge of cosmetology: The trainee will study the history of cosmetology and its evolution over time. They will learn about the different techniques and methods used in the field of cosmetology.
- Critical thinking skills: The trainee will evaluate the effectiveness of different hair and skin treatments, including spa services and cosmetic procedures. They will learn how to analyze and compare different treatments and their outcomes.
- Data analysis skills: The trainee will analyze market research data on consumer preferences and buying habits in the cosmetic industry. They will learn how to use statistical tools and techniques to interpret the data.
- Understanding of environmental factors: The trainee will evaluate the impact of environmental factors, such as pollution and UV exposure, on skin and hair health. They will learn about the different environmental factors that can affect skin and hair health and how to minimize their impact.
- Knowledge of cosmetic ingredients: The trainee will investigate the safety and efficacy of different cosmetic ingredients, including natural and synthetic substances. They will learn about the properties of different ingredients and their effects on skin and hair.
- Awareness of cultural, social, and psychological factors: The trainee will study the impact of cultural, social, and psychological factors on the use of cosmetics, including the influence of media and advertising. They will learn how to understand consumer behaviour and how to create products that meet their needs and preferences.

You can also do this program with the Erasmus+ programme or another educational programme (e.g., curricular programmes to get ECTS, final projects in university, practical and academic projects, etc). It is also possible to do the internship without any programme.
About the price
This programme has a reasonable price that varies depending on the duration of the programme and its location. The price is paid at the beginning of the internship and never in advance.
