Activities during the program
- Analyzing the fundamental principles of the legal system in the United States.
- Providing assistance in writing articles on Constitutional Law matters in the US, including recent significant Supreme Court rulings.
- Analyzing and critiquing legal doctrines and principles in light of their practical applications and implications in contemporary legal practice.
- Practicing the drafting of essays on subject areas commonly tested on the US Bar Exam.
- Resolving tasks related to Constitutional Law, Business Associations (Agency and Partnership; Corporations and Limited Liability Companies), Civil Procedure, Conflict of Laws, Contracts, Criminal Law and Procedure, Evidence, Family Law, Real Property, Torts, Trusts and Estates (Decedents’ Estates; Trusts and Future Interests), and Secured Transactions.
- Solving practical cases in accordance with US law.
You will gain the following skills:
- Legal knowledge: The trainee will gain a thorough understanding of various legal principles and doctrines in the United States legal system. This includes Constitutional Law, Business Associations, Civil Procedure, Conflict of Laws, Contracts, Criminal Law and Procedure, Evidence, Family Law, Real Property, Torts, Trusts, and Estates.
- Legal writing: The trainee will develop strong legal writing skills by assisting in writing articles on Constitutional Law matters, drafting essays on subject areas commonly tested on the US Bar Exam, and solving practical cases.
- Analytical skills: The trainee will learn how to analyze legal doctrines and principles, critique their practical applications and implications, and solve practical cases in accordance with US law.
- Research skills: The trainee will learn how to conduct legal research, including analyzing recent significant Supreme Court rulings, to support their legal analysis.
- Communication skills: The trainee will improve their communication skills by working with legal professionals, clients, and stakeholders in various legal matters.
- Attention to detail: The trainee will learn the importance of paying close attention to detail in legal matters, including drafting legal documents and analyzing legal principles.
- Time management: The trainee will develop time management skills by working on multiple legal matters simultaneously and meeting tight deadlines.

You can also do this program with the Erasmus+ programme or another educational programme (e.g., curricular programmes to get ECTS, final projects in university, practical and academic projects, etc). It is also possible to do the internship without any programme.

This programme has a reasonable price that varies depending on the duration of the programme and its location. The price is paid at the beginning of the internship and never in advance.
